I’ve always been someone who takes perfume seriously. I prefer to stick with just two or three items that truly match my personality and style, rather than rotating through dozens.
Over the years, I’ve tried many luxury brands: Giorgio Armani, Guerlain, Dior, Chanel… But not all of them stayed with me.
🌿 Chanel has always been a favorite. I love:
- Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche – light, fresh, my all-time go-to
- Gabrielle Chanel Essence – soft and elegant
I find Coco Mademoiselle a bit too strong for my taste.
💎 I also gave Tiffany’s Rose Gold a try — the scent is great, but the lasting power is disappointing. It fades in minutes.
While in Dubai, I discovered Parfums de Marly. At first, I thought it was an Arabic perfume house — the luxurious packaging gives that vibe. But it turns out it’s a high-end French brand, and I completely fell in love.
I tested many, fell in love with two:
- Delina Exclusif – a dream. Feminine, rich, and unforgettable
- Valaya – equally incredible
Needless to say… I bought both. They have a discovery set that comes with different fragrances. It costs around $55, and if you purchase a full-size fragrance from their official website within a couple of days, you can apply this credit. It changes often, but when I got mine, it came with both Delina Exclusif and Valaya in addition to the other five.
💬 I usually only keep 2–3 perfumes at a time. Not just to maintain a consistent scent identity, but also because perfume expires — after a year open, it starts to oxidize.
Right now, I rotate between:
- Chanel Chance for everyday
- Parfums de Marly for nights out with my husband
- Finishing off Tiffany Rose Gold (light, but doesn’t last)
Perfume is part of who I am. It’s not just about fragrance, it’s about memory, presence, and identity.
My Top Perfume Picks – What I Actually Wear

- I only keep 2-3 perfumes at a time to preserve scent quality and consistency
- Chanel favorites:
- Chance Eau Fraîche – fresh and timeless
- Gabrielle Chanel Essence – soft, elegant (I haven’t opened my new bottle because I already have 4 in rotation)
- Tiffany Rose Gold: nice scent, but poor lasting power, so I wouldn’t repurchase
- Discovered Parfums de Marly in Dubai (luxury French brand): perfect for special evenings
- Delina Exclusif – rich, feminine, long-lasting
- Valaya – elegant and unique
- Tip: Avoid hoarding perfumes — they oxidize after 12 months
